The first part of the series Hidden Architecture, the short film is about a public swimming pool in Bellinzona, designed by architect Aurelio Galfetti.
ABOUT THE DIRECTORS
Pablo Casals Aguirre is an architect. He graduated from UNAB / Campus Creativo at Universidad Andres Bello in Santiago de Chile. He is also dedicated to photography and has worked as a professor, teaching architecture at several universities. In 2009, he opened his own architecture, design and photography studio, were he dedicates to develop different projects local and internationally.
His other films in previous festival editions are Benedictine Monastery – Gabriel Guarda & Martín Correa, Geometric Baths – Germán del Sol, Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired People – Taller de Arquitectura, YAP – Beals & Lyon.
Transfer Global Architecture Platform, is a new independent digital editorial project based on the production and transmission of original architectural knowledge with the aim of connecting contemporary ideas and practices with the global culture of architecture.
